I know, I know I'm a bit of a slacker. We have lived here going on 4 weeks and I have yet to post any photos of the house. So here are a few that will at least show a little bit of what the house and life in Cincy is like. As you can see there is the typical gray wintry day that had a mix of snow and rain. That is the house we are renting. We are quite happy with it, but getting used to three floors (counting the basement). Anna is getting better at stairs, so that eases our minds a bit.
Next is a picture of our family room. We actually haven't been using it much even though there is a wood burning fireplace. One of the reasons is that we don't know when the last time the fireplace was cleaned and checked so we don't want to burn down the house. But it is a nice and comfy room just off the kitchen.
After that is the living room. It's a little hard to tell what's going on there, but on a typical wintry day when it's cold and wet outside you need to improvise with the kids and here is a fort that Erin helped put together (later moved by Chad into the dining room that is basically the Lego room).
Lastly is my office in the basement. You may notice the portable heater by the desk as there is no duct work in the basement and it can get pretty chilly. I'm home today working because Meredith has an ear infection and it is never easy to take all three kids to the doctor when only one is sick. We're learning how to make my office time at home work well, but it seemed to work today.
I'll try and post more in the near future--perhaps we'll get a tour of the upstairs. Thanks for all your support and keep praying for us in this new call that God has placed on our lives.
