Now Erin is ready to move...
Erin is now fully ready to move to the great white north! She just got her official Florida Snuggie from the FedEx man today. This was part of our going away gift (upon Erin's request) from the church. So if you ever come and visit and you're getting a little cold...just ask for the Snuggie.

Transition
My official time at Faith Presbyterian Church in Gainesville has come to an end. It is hard to believe that what began in July of 2006 is over, but the Lord clearly has plans for me and our family. He has used this time to shape us all and to prepare us for what lies ahead. Erin and I are used to transition; working in college ministry for so many years pushes one to get used to a lot of turnover. However, though we are used to transition it doesn't mean that it will be easy. As we begin to pack up our stuff and I clear out my office at church it makes this all the more real. We are moving. We are called to Cincinnati. We are leaving many friends and a church family that we love. Yet we know from experience in moving that we will gain more friends in Cincinnati and that we aren't really losing any in Florida, just moving on (and from that Erin now has a good place to go in February when it's been cold and cloudy for too many weeks in a row).

Prayer Requests:
- The sale or rental of our house. We have not seen much traffic as the real estate market isn't all that strong. We are meeting with another realtor later this week to explore some further options.
- Our family in the transition. Though Erin and I have been through transition our children have not. Pray that we know how to shepherd them through this time. Especially for Reed as he is concerned about making new friends and having to leave the ones he has made here.
- The timing of the move. There are many factors in our minds that will determine our move. Those things include: our house here, housing in Cincy, support status and surely other things that we have yet to consider.
- Further development of our ministry partner team. We are currently at 76% of our goal and that translates into needing about $20,000 more in support.
- That Erin and I would work well together as we try and plan everything that we have before us and that we are faithful in taking it to the Lord and that we communicate well.
